Awards
Every year, NCRPA celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the recreation and park movement and recognizes outstanding programs. Nominations for these awards are welcomed throughout the year. The recipients are honored at the Awards Lunch in conjunction with the NCRPA Conference. The Citations and Awards Committee invites you to review the criteria and submit a nomination for deserving individuals and programs.
I was extremely honored to win the Fellow Award in 2023. The recognition from peers across the state was exciting and humbling , but most importantly, it was a reflection of the many great people I have worked with in Park & Recreation here in North Carolina. I am very proud of the award and thankful for the opportunity to work in such an impactful profession that continues to improve the quality of life for our citizens each day.
